Android Apps
Android is actually the largest operating system for mobiles. Powered by Google, in just three years, I think Android may be at the same level that Apple’s operating system, Mac OS, or even higher. Based on Linux, as open source, it offers to the companies the way to develop their own applications, or even all the system for their devices.
why android?
Because i think it is a great oportunity for the world today, but it will be more interesting for the future. Everyday, more Mobiles Brands are releasing their smartphones supported by Android, and even now with the last version to the Tablets as well. There is a big market. The computer world is changing like we know it nowadays. Pc's, Smartphones and Tablets are similar but very different at the same time. Phones are good for the daily life: as we’re travelling by bus or underground, we can play, read, listen to music or watch movies, but maybe the problem is the size, a small screen. Tablets let us work properly during the weekend travels, plug external hardware, etc. so working with tablets is almost like working with a traditional computer. We can keep it with us, and took it everywhere we go. Finally the Pc's are the last world where Google is going on. They released Chrome OS, but the ruours about Android joining it are bigger everyday, so we will have Android eventually in the Pc's as well. Android Market will be the showcase for all those applications, an easy way for people to download and install in a few seconds.
what can i do?
I am starting actually, I know java, so the language is not the problem. I need time to learn the libraries and how android works inside. I think I can offer ideas for new applications, I am very ingenious creating , and in fact, i cannot wait to start developing over Android.
